Tristan Pearson

Early this morning, teammate Sherri Pearson gave birth to an eight-pound-plus baby boy, “Tristan.”  Tristan already sounds like a triathlete!  Sherri is a founding member of the Bozeman Masters Swim Club and Bozeman Triathlon Club (coordinator, too!), and has recently agreed to serve as the dietitian and nutritionist for both programs.  After the party on Saturday, swimming with the team just yesterday and then giving birth to Tristan this morning, Mother is now resting and has asked not to be disturbed, at least not today!  :o)   Sherri and Tristan are still in the hospital and will probably return home on Wednesday.  Let’s send a warm congratulations, and a splash, on to Sherri, and hubby Kevin, too.  A St. Patty’s Day baby!  Wow.

Injury Prevention Clinic — John Zombro, Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy

Tuesday, March 25, 6:00 PM —  Zombro Physical Therapy, 448 East Main St., Suite DB2, Bozeman, MT A clinic entitled “Injury Prevention for the Triathlete” will be conducted at Zombro Physical Therapy on Tuesday, March 25th from 6:00-7:30 p.m for members of the Bozeman Triathlon Club.  Physiologist/physical therapist/master’s athlete coach John Zombro will be leading a discussion on approaches to training and supplemental conditioning that are specific to the triathlete.  Some key areas that will receive focus are the shoulder, neck, back, hip, knee, and foot.  John will present biomechanical concerns of each area and suggest how triathletes can prevent or manage problems common to the sport.  The format will be casual and interactive.
